THE BASICS
What is ¡Hola-Ola!?
¡Hola-Ola! is a way to connect young students with their teachers digitally.
As a teacher myself, I experienced the difficulty to reach out to a bigger audience. So I thought: why not creating a platform to get in touch with students all around the world?
It’s easy and simple: you sign up to a class and then you meet the teacher through Zoom. No need to subscribe! You pay as you go with your classes!
Spanish lessons for children:
Your child will have the opportunity to learn one on one with a native speaker and a certified teacher as well.
Every class has a 25 minutes duration, keeping the student’s span of attention. There are certain topics which are presented and repeated to gain language acquisition. You can check Our Method for more information about this.
And the best thing: you don’t need to drive your child to class! You can stay at the safety of your home and enjoy flexible schedule, stress-free, focused learning.
My child has no knowledge about Spanish. Is ¡Hola-Ola! a good way to start learning Spanish?
Yes! If your child has no previous experience learning Spanish or any other language, then ¡Hola-Ola! is your perfect way to give him or her a positive learning experience.
Our content is designed to captivate our Students’ attention, entertain them and make learning easy for them!
The main idea for us as Teachers is that kids have a good time while they are discovering new abilities.
What do I need to join a class?
To join one of our classes all you need to do is:
- Have a personal device connected to the internet.
- Have Zoom App downloaded.
Is having a camera necessary?
Yes, we recommend 100% having your camera on while the class is active. In this way, the Teacher will be engaging with the Student in a more meaningful and effective way. We teach using TPR method so it is vital that the Student is able to see the Teacher and vice versa. Teaching online can be quite a challenge but having the aid of visual and hearing devices allow us to give the best service possible.
What is a trial class (for children only)?
We want you to try our educational offer and judge if it is something you are interested in investing for your child. This is why we are offering your first class FREE of charge.
After you create your account, you can book a free 25 minute lesson with your teacher.
If you have any questions after your trial lesson, just contact us at info@hola-ola.net. We’re here to help!
Note: We recommend that you, as a Parent, are present during the trial lesson. If your child is younger than 5 years old, we also recommend being present during all lessons.
Can I have more than one child attending the same class?
We value our one-on-one time with our Students as one of our biggest assets. This 25 minute class is an opportunity for us Teachers to get to know our Students and tailor our educational content so that they can get the best out of it! If we have to share the screen with another sibling, cousin or friend, then the quality of this service will decrease. And we are not up to that.
What is the Payment Method?
Buy with confidence! We have made our web page 100% secure to pay through PayPal or Stripe. Choose your most convenient method and start the adventure of learning Spanish with us!

Can I reschedule a class?
Yes! If you are not able to attend a scheduled class, you need to reschedule it with at least 24 hour notice.
We highly recommend you reschedule your class for a time and date that suits you best!
However, since we value your time and the teachers as well, a class that fails to be rescheduled with 24 hour notice will be deducted and classified as a No Show class.
Can I cancel a class?
If you are not able to attend a scheduled class, you can reschedule it with at least 24 hour notice. However, if you cancel your scheduled class it will be deducted.
What happens when I cancel a class?
If you have a trial class and you cancel it, you will not be able to apply for a new free one.
Moreover, if you have already paid for your class and you cancel it, the class will be deducted anyway.
For this reason, we recommend rescheduling with at least 24 hour notice instead.
How to reschedule or cancel a class.
- Sign in our webpage.
- Access your Student Panel.
- In Appointments click on the pencil next to the class and choose the option: Reschedule or Cancel.
- To reschedule: choose your new details for the rescheduled class.
- To cancel: confirm your cancellation.
What happens if I don’t show to my scheduled class?
If you miss your scheduled class as previously confirmed and registered in the account, then the class will be deducted and classified as a No Show class.
We encourage you to respect and value your time as well as the Teachers and try your best to avoid this situation.
What if I arrive late to my scheduled class?
If you arrive late to your class within 15 minutes from the start, then you can still join it until its scheduled ending time.
The Teacher will wait for you during the first 15 minutes of the scheduled class but will not be able to extend after that.
For example, you missed your class at 9:00 a.m. but arrive to the meeting at 9:10 a.m. The Teacher will do its best to give the content of the class in the remaining time.
We understand that sometimes unexpected things can happen and you might arrive late. Nevertheless, the Teacher will have other scheduled classes to attend so no exception can be made when a student arrives late to their class.
